The year 2019 has been a massive year for the startup scene in Northern Europe – and The Hub.
Just to mention a few success stories, Swedish Voi Scooters scored $85 million took their fleet across Europe and Pleo raised a whopping $56 million, the largest series B round in Denmark to date. Likewise, IQM Technologies landed $12 million, the largest Seed Round in the Finnish startup scene. And Oslo has become the European capital of impact tech, with impactful superstars like CHOOOSE taking on the world.
Thanks to the wonderful messages, comments, and suggestions from The Hub startup users, we’ve introduced a few changes too. With the newly reformed user experience and the highly expected ATS integration with Workable and Lever, we hope to support even more startups and scale-ups on their growth journeys.
Today we’re continuing on this path to empower startups and founders to expand smoothly across geographical boundaries by merging our services for all regions under one roof – thehub.io.
Say Hello to thehub.io!
The Hub startups, jobs, tools and resources previously available Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Northern Ireland are now all living under one roof at theHub.io.
What this means in practice is that now the Hub startup users are able to:
- Post jobs that reach candidates in all regions, wherever you are located
- Browse investor and startup profiles without geolocation restrictions
- Manage your startup profile across all countries from one dashboard
Moreover, all job seekers can now use one search bar to find their dream job across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland or Northern Ireland.
Started from the Bottom…
And now we are here. Over the past 4 years, we’re proud to have helped 6800+ startups scale up and over 350,000 applicants find their dream job across all markets. Just look at this amazing growth journey we’ve been through.
But the real success of the Hub is not in the numbers. It’s the startups like CHOOOSE or Trustpilot that have scaled up. That is why we contacted some of our all-time top-recruiters and asked, how the Hub has helped them on their growth journey.
Inzpire.me: Started up in Norway, now available in 100+ countries
Inzpire.me is one of the true Norwegian startup success stories. And despite the international expansion, according to their People and Culture Manager Rebecka Gyllerup still to date “The Hub is one of our top five applicant sources”.
Vultus: Scaling up with 50 open positions in only two years
Vultus is a Lund-based Swedish startup that offers satellite-based fertilizer prescriptions to eliminate waste in farming.
